Re: RSPB Hypocrisy

Be careful what you wish for re television coverage...... cormorants have not been introduce by anyone, unlike reared birds for shooting. Cormorants have adapted to fish inland because man has raped the sea's of fish that they naturally fished for. So man is the problem and not the bird. Regarding t...

Re: Otter news.

Using the government website as best I could, it showed over 900 roach present in 1992 at the section of river I was looking at. That number had fallen to 30 roach in 2004. All I know is that I used to be able to catch 5 or 6 pike a session, and now I can't catch one. The fish are not there. Hardly...

Got a reply from the founder of the State of Nature report explaining that fish numbers are not included because surveys are patchy and regional and there is no comprehensive national data.
What a load of tosh! I think the author needs to speak with the EA Fisheries teams

Re: Fox Gremlin, Chomper and Junior Slinky

Does anyone own any of these if so have you had any success with them and what action/depth/senario would you fish with them? I have a chomper....its a slow sinking version and is a jerk bait I do believe. I have a jointed version to and that I tend to cast and retrieve. Not see the slinky, so cant...
