Hello all,
I am an "On & Off" lifelong angler, and have decided that it's time to have a crack at pike.
I shall initially be trying lure on the local canals, & then deadbait once the number of narrow boats has died down. Hopefully, with a bit of experience under my belt, I shall be able to go after some of the beauties in Loch Ken when we go back next year!
Although I already have a number of rods & reels (mostly fly fishing), could somebody suggest a good rod & reel set-up to get me started?
Thanks!
Bernie
