Ey up chaps. A lapsed angler started back in Jan this year after a biggish freshwater break. Almost always done sea fishing though. I’m lucky, I live right on the Bridgewater Canal with a few perch in. I got a decent pike one evening and that was it. Boom.
Been gradually getting some gear together and learning a bit.
Living in the M29 area of Mancunia it’s not exactly teaming with rivers, which is what I prefer, it’s places to go I’m looking for.
I’ve been on a commercial lake and had a good day, but I like roving around really. I’ve mainly been up and down the cuts near me and a bit further away.
I’m keen, if anyone can pm me a spot or two I’d really appreciate it. Any meets coming up etc, I’m in.
