Hooks
Hi All
Trying to find hooks I used years ago, or something very similar. They were called Vic Bellars Back-to-Back Hooks, just wondering if anyone knows where these sorts of hooks can be found.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Hooks
The VB doubles are no longer made.
I've not used this site but I'm told you can get them here - http://www.troutandsalmonhooks.com/shop/

Re: Hooks
Thanks for the link Dave, just topped up my dwindling stash.
Excellent hooks, I've used them for about 35 years.

Re: Hooks
A couple of years ago I bought some hooks from ebay advertised as VB doubles. When they arrived (from France) they were clearly not Partridge hooks and looked like they'd been made by an enthusiastic amateur. I was dubious but gave them a go and they were fine, they done the job and didn't break, I landed plenty of fish on them.
This morning a package arrived from France... Yes they are undoubtedly from the same source. No big deal as I know these hooks do the trick but they are definitely not Partridge hooks.

That's interesting, but disappointing.Michael Hastings wrote: ↑Sat Nov 19, 2022 2:28 pmA couple of years ago I bought some hooks from ebay advertised as VB doubles.
