Hi all, I have a 50” Umbrella from my general fishing currently and as I plan to spend more time on the bank behind the rods looking for recommendations for a shelter/bivvy that will not break the bank, don’t want to spend hundreds or pounds.
I am tall, 6ft 5, and will be sitting in quite a high deluxe chair, wont be doing any overnights for the foreseeable and need it to be quickly put up and down.
Any thoughts highly appreciated.
Thanks
Trevor

Re: Shelter/Bivvy Recommendations
Hi Trevor,
I switched last year to a shelter/brolly that can have either a single central pole that can go flat against the back of the brolly or storm poles at the front.
I went for the Fox Specialist brolly, and then bought long 2 x long storm poles.
The only issue I found was that the storm pole adaptor were in my mind in the wrong place, so I moved them so that them are positioned either side of the centre rib.
Don't get the Korum 50", it has a habit of collapsing when windy
