Pikelines 167

Post by JohnLucas1316 » Sat Feb 08, 2020 8:01 am

Call me 'old mr miserable', but I would rather see Pikelines filled with articles from the UK.
I know that some people would be interested in the long Canadian piece, but personally I would rather see UK content instead, even if it is doom and gloom.
A commercial predator magazine (you know the one) started filling its pages with non UK content, and I think this contributed to its downfall. I am not interested in the Baltic, or Australian eels !

Don't like what you're reading in Pikelines, got something to say?
Then do what some of us have done and Write your own articles. ;)

Personally I like the diversity of topics covered, I spend the summer fishing for other species and travel to France for my carp fishing because I don't like the atmosphere on the carp lakes in my area.
I'm an anti social piker and am happy with the area I pike fish, but reading about pike in the wilderness of Northern Europe or the Tiger Muskies in New Mexico,
Certainly is food for thought for those of us who don't mind travelling to fish.

Hats off to those responsible for our mag and those members who submit the articles,
whatever the topic :D
