Our first meeting of 2019 will be at 7.30pm Monday 21st January, at Owley Wood Club, Weaverham. This will be a social meeting with a general knowledge quiz on all aspects of coarse angling - to be contested by teams of two or three, depending on numbers present. Just to mix things up a bit the teams will be drawn from a hat so everyone has an equal chance of being on the winning team - regardless of their own angling experience. It should be great fun and, as usual we will have a second-hand tackle stall and raffle.
Here are the relevant dates for the rest of this season:
January - Monday 21st: Angling quiz night.
February - Monday 18th: Guest speaker: Geoff Gauton (former Cheshire Regional Organiser) on 'Pike Fishing'.
March - Monday 18th: social night (activities to be arranged)
April - Monday 15th: Guest speaker (to be arranged).
May - Monday 20th: AGM and presentation night.
