Hi Guys,
I’m off for a weeks piking with a few friends to Pitsford in early December. We have not fished there before, but understand it holds some huge pike, being a trout fishery.
Just after any info such as good areas to start as it’s an enormous sheet of water and a bit daunting.
Planning to bank fish mostly & if any members have fished there, any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
If it proves interesting I will write an account for Pikelines, hopefully one of us might get the fish of a lifetime.
Many thanks

Just wondering is Pitsford fishable on a day ticket or is it a syndicate?

Hi Phil,
We will be fishing on day tickets which cost around £22 per day, with extra if you want a boat.
There is a season ticket available for £290. Deadbaits allowed from 1st Nov, before then I think it’s only fly fishing for the pike.

Normally found that the pike will be fry bashing, so fish small baits and lures.Davidcard1811 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 9:12 pmHi Guys,
