Day tickets on Lancaster canal

This is something I have been unsure about for a while even tho am a pac member do I still need to buy day tickets to fish certain stretch of the canal so say I wanted to fish Glasson Dock for a few hours then want to come back to Preston end for the rest of the day is there different tickets or just one or none thank you to anyone that could shed some light on this for me as I mainly fish rivers but I do go on the canal from time to time

Day tickets do not look to be an option.

I have read that a couple of times and it is pac that has the main areas I want to target this coming season so does that mean am covered to fish that with being a member as 8 don't want to step on anyone toes

Hi Phil, firstly, to fish the Lancaster Canal for course fish you need either a day ticket or a 12 month permit. If you want to fish for Pike on the Lancaster Canal you have to be a member of PAC as well as having a day ticket or 12 month permit. Here's a link to the application form (Which personally doesn't make sense to me, I find it impossible to understand). https://pacgb.com/wpd/wp-content/upload ... n-Form.pdf It explains near the bottom on bold type where you can fish on the canal. John Threlfall manages the canal, it might be worth contacting him to help. Hope this is of some help.
